Description
The Old Crow Distillery in Frankfort, KY was once a prominent producer of bourbon using the latest scientific research and methodologies for the creation of sour mash. This specific set of buildings were abandoned in 1987 following its sale to Jim Beam, and is now owned, curated and conserved by Glenns Creek Distillery, which hosts walking tours to detail the history and share the unique beauty of the decaying structures. This particular view was one I loved for the clarity of scale and beautiful keystone accents over the doors and windows. Sharp-eyed observers will quickly notice whose view is referenced in the tile.
