Description
This 9″x12″ scratchboard artwork showcases just a few of the 177 steps on the climb up to the top of the Pensacola Lighthouse. Managed and conserved by the Pensacola Lighthouse and Maritime Museum, it is on the National Registry of Historic Places, curates a varied collection of accounts and objects, including its original First-Order Fresnel lens. With a reputation for being considerably haunted, the Lighthouse has chosen to embrace its folklore and local legends and, in addition to its historical and educational programs, offers ghost tours as well as moonlight tours.
