Description
African Hunting Dogs, also known as Painted Dogs, are incredibly beautiful and perfectly adapted to the life they lead. Long limbs, enormous ears and coats that resemble sunlight through the leaves of trees make this species one of my very favorite subjects for creative work. Rendering in graphite made the spotted patterns in the fur exactly the sort of challenge I enjoy. This piece is 11″ by 14″ on smooth bristol.
